A Family owned mobile veterinary practice

Serving the community of Northern Arizona with a focus on preventative medicine.

Meet Dr. Cameron Folkers

Dr. Folkers has been a veterinarian in Flagstaff since 2017. Originally from Newport Beach, he completed his undergrad in Biology at Arizona State University. Cameron proceeded to spend three years studying veterinary medicine at Ross University on St. Kitts and completed his clinical year at Colorado State University.

It was in Colorado where Dr. Folkers was able to study equine medicine more extensively and even develop an interest in equine reproduction. Dr. Folkers continues to pursue his skills in equine reproduction and looks forward to expanding his practice to include more reproductive services to the Northern Arizona community.

Cameron lives in Doney Park with his wife and children. He loves to share his passion for animals with his children and considers his practice a family operated business. Cameron’s wife, Sarah, regularly assists him in caring for patients and he enjoys teaching his children about veterinary medicine and including them in his practice.

Sarah and Cameron started Northern Equine in 2017 with the hope of building a family owned mobile veterinary business that prides itself on its connection with the local equestrian community. Sarah places a special emphasis on maintaining relationships with all of their clients and regularly assists in preventative procedures. In their free time they enjoy riding English or going on trail rides. Sarah also maintains a real estate license and is available for any of your equestrian property needs.
